Golden Taco

2/25/24 18.41. I ordered 4 tacos. Carne Asada, Cabeza, Pollo, and Tripas. Hi Lou, recommend stopping at Golden taco! Fast and friendly service. Clean establishment, including paper towels in the restroom. The food was cooked to perfection! Well, seasoned, tender and moist. Tripas were cooked to perfection! Crispy and flavorful! I enjoyed the environments. And will definitely come back again.

Wow.... What can I say. Meat was all perfectly cooked, not overly or under seasoned. Mild salsa was good. Might try hit next time to test the burn. For sure coming back to try other items. Taco Tuesday WIN.

Great service, tastes home made, and their birria burrito/tacos are amazing. My husband's abuela used to cook birria y consome and he thoroughly enjoyed the food. We will be back for their taco Tuesday to try their cabeza.

This was my first time here! The restaurant was small, quaint, and very clean. Originally, I wanted fish tacos, but they are only available on Fri. and Sat. I got 2 chicken tacos! They were fabulous! The tomatillo sauce was outstanding and the chicken was tasty and not dry with the sauce added to it. Hazel, the cashier, was very kind at explaining the menu to me as I wasn't sure what came on or with my order! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! Thank you and a Happy New Year to you!

Very small restaurant limited sitting. Food is delicious the Carne asda is chopped small with great flavor. The birria tacos are even better. They also have Pollo pastor cabeza and tripas. Fast service and clean environment. The bathroom isn't the cleanest and no paper towels.

The Golden Taco is a brand new small taco shop opened on Power Road just south of McKellips. The facility is clean and crisp. The staff is warm and helpful. And the food is perfect combination of excellent meats as a base for any of the tacos, burritos, quesadillas or full plates you desire.We stopped at Golden Taco today simply because we were driving by and our son mentioned having heard it was good. Am I glad we stopped. The three of us ordered our food, sat down and everything was prepared hot and very quick. I had a pastor (marinated pork) burrito with a csrne asada taco. It was excellent. My wife had a birria burrito and she really enjoyed it (she is a picky eater). My son ordered the carne asada burrito and a birria taco. He loved his food as well.I ordered chips and salsa for us to share as well. One of my favorite things is to taste new salsas. Their red salsa is a traditional burnt pepper flavor cut with a tinge of sharp citric. The verde salsa is a thinner cilantro infused taste as well. I really think their red salsa is excellent and with a genuine kick.The prices were reasonable but higher than the chain mexican drive throughs, which is fine since the food is much much better. I would say for those familiar with Backyard Taco or a more authentic type of fresh grilled mexican food this place would be to your liking.This was a jome run for me. I will be back. You shoukd try it out too! See you there!

I mean, WOW! When you see Hazel an the ladies in the back working, YOU KNOW your getting some of the best of the best food an love right there! Nothing unsatisfying about this place. All the way from the menu, the food, the customer service, BY FAR best place in Mesa! My family, my coworkers an myself are truly blessed with this place.

This is a nice little Mexican restaurant I got the dipping tacos the broth is really well seasoned and had a great flavor to it. The tacos them self were jampacked full of meat and melted cheese very good experience will go back. Definitely a 5/5 for a fast food style restaurant.
